Activities

The Remineralization Forum undertakes a range of activities on behalf of the commercial, industrial and public sectors concerned with soil remineralization:

This includes liaison and support to further knowledge about soil remineralization.  This is through research into soil sustainability, soil and nutritional health together with studies on resource-use in the quarrying industries.

The Forum has some research funds which can be allocated to projects meeting the Forum objectives.

Priority will be given to projects where:
  • the proposal clearly meets priorities of the Forum
  • the proposal can attract co-funding
  • applicants have an existing trackrecord in this area of work
  • results can be applied in industry or matches cross-sector objectives of resource-use and sustainability

We undertake to treat your research proposals in confidence.  We may also seek responses to invitations-to-tender for topics we have identified.   Potential research contractors must pre-qualify by providing information for which we will provide a standard format.

We also provide advice on how to secure match-funding or additional information.

We can provide guidance to those seeking to implement soil remineralization on a scale that will have an economic or environmental impact.

We are sorry that we are unable to reply to enquiries from members of the public about remineralization, such as where to buy mineral fines and rockdusts.  Please browse the following links for further information:
